1. What is the calibration plate?

Calibration Target corrects lens distortion for vision machine in machine vision, image measurement, photogrammetry, 3d reconstruction, etc.Determine the conversion between physical size and pixels;And to determine the relationship between the 3d geometric position of a point on the surface of a space object and its corresponding point in the image, it is necessary to establish a geometric model of camera imaging.The geometric model of the camera can be obtained by shooting the flat plate with fixed spacing pattern and calculating by the calibration algorithm, so as to obtain the high-precision measurement and reconstruction results.A plate with a fixed spacing pattern array is the Calibration Target.

2. What are the materials of the calibration plate?

There are two materials of calibration plate:

(1) soda glass

The calibration plate of glass substrate is widely used in transmission vision measuring system, which has the characteristics of small coefficient of thermal expansion, high precision, high hardness and good corrosion resistance.

(2) ceramic material

Calibration plate adopt ceramic base of standard plate has a small thermal expansion coefficient, high strength, high hardness, good wear resistance, low thermal conductivity, good acid, alkaline, and the good surface diffuse processing, solved in the process of application, the front light cases the problem of reflective glass calibration plate, can better identify plate design detail information so as to achieve a higher calibration precision and accuracy of measurement.

3. What are the types of calibration plates?

Common calibration plate types are: international checkerboard calibration plate, solid circle array calibration plate, grid calibration plate, ceramic calibration plate and so on.Other calibration plates can be customized as required.
